The World’s First
Video Game Hotel
…no longer exists
If you have booked a room at The Arcade Hotel, please read further and be aware that you might have been sold an experience that is not in accordance with our brand promise.
tl;dr
“A” hotel still exists. It also calls itself The Arcade Hotel. But it is not. This is due to the new owner of our former property illegally using our brand.
What happend?
After 10 incredible years, the original lease ended, and while the hotel has since changed hands, the new owner never obtained a licensing agreement while stile using our trademarks — and has significantly altered the design and guest experience.
Therefore this location no longer reflects the video game‑focused identity that made it special.
A Note to Our Community
The Arcade Hotel was built on passion—for gaming, creativity, and genuine connection. We nurtured a vibrant community and shared countless memorable moments. Though the space no longer carries the licensed brand or the immersive design that defined it, that spirit lives on in the stories of guests like you.
Important Information for Future Guests
The current hotel operator does not hold a valid license to use The Arcade Hotel brand.
The interior and amenities have been extensively “reimagined” and do not resemble the original gaming concept.
We sincerely apologize if this causes disappointment. This text is legally accurate and remains necessary to ensure guests are fully informed before booking.
Why We’re Sharing This
Our commitment to honesty means you deserve a clear picture of what awaits you. We value the trust, nostalgia, and enthusiasm our guests have shown—and we deeply regret that this location no longer delivers the authentic experience you deserve.
Thank you for understanding. We hope to bring back the magic of The Arcade Hotel someday, in a place that stays true to its heritage.
